OPS Privacy Policy

Effective date: September 18, 2026

OPS is a private, locally operated business assistant used by Fitment Fab. This policy describes how OPS handles information obtained through its QuickBooks Online connection.

Information OPS accesses

With the account owner's authorization, OPS may access business records such as customers, vendors, estimates, invoices, payments, bills, items, and purchase orders. OPS may submit changes to supported accounting records only when the authorized user explicitly requests and approves them.

How information is used

Information is used to provide internal business summaries, answer the authorized user's questions, and prepare or carry out explicitly approved accounting actions. OPS does not sell accounting data, use it for advertising, or share it with data brokers.

Storage and security

OPS runs on an owner-operated Mac. OAuth tokens are stored in the macOS Keychain. Limited accounting snapshots are stored locally for operational context. The public pages on this domain do not receive or store QuickBooks accounting records. The OAuth callback passes the authorization response to the local application.

Retention and control

Local snapshots and credentials remain until the account owner removes them. Access can be revoked from QuickBooks Online or by removing the OPS connection. Questions or deletion requests may be sent to will@fitmentfab.com.

Third-party services

Use of QuickBooks Online is also governed by Intuit's terms and privacy notices.
